- One year training in Interventional Radiology department for Special Procedures
- Instructs patient in a courteous manner regarding imaging procedures, positions patients and operates radiographic equipment, practices ALARA principals and ensures proper radiation safety practices
- Assists with procedures (fluoroscopy), follows established guidelines, practices sterile techniques and standard precautions
- Assists the physician during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedure; experience with TACE, SIRT, TIPS, FISTULA and GRAFTOGRAM
- Scrubbing in as a second operator to assist the primary physician including catheter/ wire management, administration of contrast, and assisting the physician to expedite the case and improve the quality of care
- Knowledge about Filming, RIS, Nuance, and PACS
- My clinical Rotation include Vascular, Neuro, and GI cases
