  • Responsible for maintenance and service of Microbiology, Anatomy and Biology facilities, including autoclaves, dishwashers, and laboratory classrooms. Also involved in designing and implementing laboratory protocols for Microbiology labs, duties include maintaining culture stocks and evaluating protocols for lab implementation.

·        North Carolina Big Clean Sweep, cleaned up a 1.5-mile run of the Rock Fish Creek in North Carolina.          

·        Adopt a River, at least twice a year helped clean up a portion of the Lumber River in North Carolina.

·        Adopt a Highway, at least twice a year helped clean up the sides of Union Chapel Road, Pembroke, North Carolina.

  • North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries, helped with the Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) seines survey data on the Pamlico River, North Carolina.
