Experienced CADC Counselor

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to apply for the position of Corpsman/Medic - Mental Health.  I have been looking for an opportunity to join an organization that's making a real difference, and feel that this job is an excellent fit for me. My CADC certification combined with my skill and passion for working with individuals in need, would make me a great asset to your team and your mission. As a team player, I strive to be helpful to colleagues and consult with them to maximize the care given to clients.

I have long been passionate about social issues, and my background experience has focused on working in areas related to behavioral health and pastoral care. I have a range of experiences and skills that would help me make a positive difference at Family Guidance Centers, including:

Communication Skills: I have an outgoing, positive demeanor that allows me to communicate warmly and effectively with people from all walks of life.

SUD Counseling: I currently conduct the Early Intervention Program groups at Breaking Free, Inc. where I serve as a PRN counselor with a growing caseload who is experienced in the full range of client care and documentation requirements.

SAMMS Software Skills: I have spent the last year and a half utilizing SAMMS EMR software in assessing clients, creating treatment plans and updating them with continued stay reviews, and documenting all case related data.

These skill sets have been key to the success of the various programs with which I have worked.

My drive to contribute to positive social change through the work that I do will make me an asset to the AMITA Health - Alexian Brothers team. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about this position. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Carol Rudnick Goldblatt
