CAREER QUALIFICATIONS Approximately 20 years experience working in healthcare imaging with over 12 years devoted exclusively to MRI. Knowledge of GE 1.5T, Siemens Harmony 1.5T and Hitachi Aries 0.3 & Oasis 1.2T scanners.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Interviewed & conducted safety screening of patients in preparation for their scans to obtain images following established neurological & musculoskletal protocols for diagnosis & treatment. Able to start & remove IV lines for contrast studies per established OSHA guidelines. Transferred images to PACS for radiologist interpretations and onto CD or hard copy film for referring physicians. Updated & adjusted scanner protocols when directed by the MR Committee. Maintained daily work flow schedule & monthly staffing schedules. Managed departmental biweekly inventory insuring that appropriate supplies were needed -- especially contrast agents, sedation & contrast premedications. Completed & monitored MR QA reports on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis as determined by regulation policy and assisted the physicist during the Annual Physicist Inspection as determined by the State of Maryland guidelines.
