  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
    • Coordinates and facilitates care of the trauma patient from the ED to inpatient care. Monitors the care of the trauma patient to identify potential or real problems that contribute to increased morbidity and mortality or a prolonged length of stay
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
    • Rn with current Arkansas license, MSN preferred, five years experience in the care of trauma patients, advanced skills in critical care nursing accompanied by advanced certification such as : CCRN,CEN,TNCC,ATLS, Excellent skills in communications and interpersonal relationships with demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with all levels of medical personnel within the institution and community.. demonstrated ability to form and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, good critical thinking skills, computer literacy, familiarity with research methodology, self directed, able to work with little supervision, and flexibility in schedule, designed to meet job requirements, come travel may be necessary.
