Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $75,007.12
Mid = $97,509.26
Max = $120,011.40
Summary:
The Supervisor of Procurement and Sourcing is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the daily activities of the entire procurement process to include requisition management, order placement, communicating estimated arrival times, and backorder notifications. Collaborates with warehouse receiving, central supply, value analysis, clinical departments, accounts payable, and vendors to identify substitute products and close out purchase orders. This role includes direct oversight of all technical, business, and personnel related aspects ensuring high quality customer service is provided to all internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Organizes and prioritizes a variety of projects and multiple tasks with high attention to detail. Able to identify opportunities to improve revenue, cost savings, and workflow efficiencies. Knowledgeable and able to introduce and follow lean management systems. Collaborates with internal departments, sourcing, and AP to move recurring charges from check request to PO process. System applications Lead as needed.
Demonstrates strong proactive relationship with internal and external customers to resolve invoice discrepancies such as items received but not invoiced, invoiced but not received. Proactively works with third party vendors for opportunity to sale excess products. Assist with expired product evaluation for donations as needed-completing and maintaining necessary documentation. Monitors overtime approval if needed.
Able to develop others through setting clear expectations, mentoring and coaching, and holding other accountable for results. Develops others through routine staff rounding and scheduled 1:1’s. Assists in managing staff requests through work force management application. Completes 3 LINK sessions per fiscal year.
Delegates and assigns responsibility for group email box. Assisting with daily problem-solving as needed. Proactively redistributes workload as needed. Schedule Business review meetings with internal and external customers. (monthly, quarterly, including multiple departments). Monitors and compiles data from various reports and multiple IT Applications, following up with staff as needed. Reporting out various KPI’s as indicated.
Routinely completes monthly follow up on all open PO’s and facilitates timely closure. Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies, coordinates adjustments, and credits working with accounting and vendor. Resolves supply shipping problems, invoicing, and receiving discrepancies by liaison with suppliers departments and end-users. Assists with Document storage process to maintain DNV requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively to establish and maintain strong internal and external customer, Supplier, and leadership relationships. Proactively reaches out to departments and leaders to understand goals and needs. Routinely shares findings with internal team to resolve quickly. Appropriate delivery of organizational messages. Timely professional resolution of internal and external concerns. Consistently using discretion and security of sensitive information. Demonstrates strong communication skills through effective exchange of information with others. Staff meeting presentations and other public speaking events as needed.
Assumes responsibility for special projects as requested by Director. Completing projects in an organized and thorough manner including documentation and spreadsheet report as requested. Performs other duties as assigned.
