JOB SUMMARY 
The Supervisor, Physician Services has operational supervisory responsibility over multiple Jackson Purchase Medical Center physician practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Supervisor focuses on daily operations such as personnel supervision and support, compliance with organizational policies/procedures/directives, facility management, patient scheduling and business related reporting and functions.

Oversees scheduling patients and improved access for patients to the practices.

Assists in development, administration and support of organizational policies, procedures, and directives. Implements and monitors projects and operational functions.

Assist with creation of strategies for efficiency and growth of the practices.

Manages various personnel functions including work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.

Develop systems knowledge, including practice management systems and electronic medical records where applicable.

Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation skills required.

Strong interpersonal, customer service, and supervisory skills required.

Provides department level orientation to new team members to include system software, telephone processes and protocols, office equipment usage, departmental policies and procedures, customer service expectations, job competencies, and coaching plans.

Provides ongoing support to staff members in the areas of system software, organizational
policies/procedures/directives, performance and growth, etc.

Develop knowledge in areas required for job success including but not limited to Rural Health Clinics, payroll functions, staff scheduling, etc.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with JPMC ad LifePoint policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Maintains compliance with all JPMC and LifePoint policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions
Educates, supervises, and supports staff.
Maintains confidentiality of data and information.
Functions as a member of the medical office management team.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
Three (3) years' experience in a leadership role, project management role, or physician office setting
