The Structural Heart Coordinator for the valve clinic and TAVR program is a Registered Nurse who possesses both strong clinical knowledge and organizational skills. This Coordinator is responsible for overall program development, implementation and daily operation of the valve clinic and TAVR program. Also has responsibility for the development, implementation and adherence clinical protocols related to the care of patients in the valve care program.
Minimum EducationGraduate of a Bachelor's of Science Nursing Program
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)ACLS
Licenses:Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum of three years’ recent clinical experience in a Critical Care experience with a focus on Cardiology.Clinical experience working with cardiac patients, is required.Preferred:Experience with clinical research.Experience with programmatic development and project management.Cath Lab experience preferred.
