JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Description
The Division of Surgery is seeking to hire a full-time Research Associate to join the Orthpaedic Surgery Department. You will conduct scientific projects related to skeletal muscle dysfunction and fibrosis in cerebral palsy. Primary duties include:
- Conducting human muscle and small animal tissue experimentation
- Performing cell culture and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
- Assisting in purifying DNA, protein and RNA from cells and tissues
- Laboratory maintenance
- Data organization, management, and analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of manuscripts, grants, and research reports
- Other duties as assigned
Salary range: $26.52/hr – $31.63/hr
