Sr. LVN Supervisor – Encino

Qualifications

Required:

• CA LVN License
• Current and valid CPR certification with ability to administer CPR
• Possess IV therapy certification
• At least 2-3 years of experience as an LVN in an ambulatory setting
• Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and/or procedures
• Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed
• Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatening medical problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers
• Keyboard literacy skills to access and input data in computerized logging systems
• Ability to accept direction from administration and act promptly
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, peers, physicians and administrators
• Ability to effectively elicit salient clinical information and making appropriate assignments based on established guidelines
• Skill in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients and visitors with health concerns using tact and discretion
• Skill in preforming with frequent interruptions an/or distractions including the ability to accept equivocal circumstances and responds to changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to maintain equanimity in the face of resistance, indifference and hostility
• Ability to push, pull or carry up to 30 lbs.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of the physician practice operations
• Working knowledge of EMR System (EPIC) Care Connect
• Spanish speaking skills
