Senior Financial Analyst III – Physician Compensation
Location: Spartanburg, SC

Position Summary:
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst III – Physician Compensation to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on analyzing and reviewing productivity and compensation for MGC-employed physicians. Leveraging advanced tools such as Excel, EPIC, and Strata, the analyst will provide critical financial reports, support strategic initiatives, and assist in budget development.

Operating with minimal supervision, the Senior Financial Analyst III – Physician Compensation will tackle complex financial problems, validate physician practice financial statements, and evaluate associated revenue and expenditures. This position also involves direct collaboration with managers and physicians to deliver insights that drive decision-making.

With full training, this role offers the flexibility to work remotely 80–90% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • 2+ years in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong formula and data analysis skills.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with database programs.

Preferred Requirements:
Education

  • Master’s degree in a business-related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • 5+ years in a healthcare setting.

  • Collaborate effectively with managers and physicians, providing clear communication and strategic recommendations.

Revenue & Expenditure Oversight

  • Conduct thorough reviews of revenues and expenditures associated with physician practices.
  • Ensure financial integrity by validating data across all associated accounts.
