Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.

We’re looking for Sonographers to join our extraordinary Team at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center. Our affiliation with the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has created a number of new career pathways and makes this the perfect time for you to join our team.

General Summary:

Conducts general and vascular ultrasound, examinations to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical,
pathological, and functional data. Reviews results for quality and completeness, refers to physician for
evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. RDMS, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and/or RVT,
Registered Vascular Technologist required.

 

 

What You Need to Be Successful:

RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
One year performing general and vascular exams.
