The University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Shock Trauma Center Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. Located at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won’t find a more vibrant place to work!
One of 12 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained a Neuro-system servere life-threatening inury often along with other system traumatic injury. Patients are transitioned to a separate Neurotrauma IMC Unit (with separate staff) once more stable.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Experience requirements include:
-Prior experience as RN in Critical Care, ICU or ED experience x 2 years required.
-Prior Neuro or Trauma ICU or IMC experience preferred.
Unable to accept Nursing Graduates at this time.
-Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred;
-Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
