Qualifications

 

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

  • Current California RN license and relevant clinical nursing skills
  • BSN/MSN, required
  • BCLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
  • ACLS, required
  • Experience working with Neurology/Neurosurgery/Stroke patient populations, preferred
  • Experience in research coordination of clinical trials, preferred
  • Ability to work independently in preparation of adverse event reports, and regulatory paperwork, preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology, specifically neurology, preferred
  • Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills to work with minimal to moderate supervision
  • Skill in working as part of a team and maintaining cooperative working relationships with members of the Trial staff, coordinating center and site personnel, sponsors, and the Los Angeles community
  • Skill in working independently to complete multiple and complex tasks in an environment with rapid changes in priorities
  • Ability to attend to detail and extract data and document medical events with high fidelity
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
