We are hiring a Registered Nurse to work in our ICU department at Spartanburg - Mary Black campus!
- Full Time; 36 Hours Weekly; 7p to 7a
- Night and weekend shift differentials
Our 207 bed, acute care hospital offers a wide range of services and is part of an organization comprised of 6 acute care facilities, ~10,000 team members and over 400 volunteers. Our ICU has 18 beds and utilizes latest technology such as Omnicell, Epic, and Mindray (for vitals), allowing our team to provide the best care possible to our patients. Our Nurse to Patient Ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 depending upon acuity. We work with medical and surgical ICU cases, single system organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, CHS, COPD, etc. This team has excellent comradery and is often recognized for their superb clinical skill set.
The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The RN demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for support associates. The RN will collaborate with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s culture, Mission, Vision, and Values. Associates are encouraged to engage and support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s involvement in the communities we serve.
Education
- Graduate of an approved / accredited School of Nursing
Experience
- Novice to expert nurse
License/Registration/Certifications
- Current RN licensure in the State of South Carolina or Compact State
- BLS – may secure certification post-hire
- Facility Department BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS BCA STABLE TNCC CCC CMC ICU X X - X X - - X
