Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with BSN or MSN
California Registered Nursing License
BLS and ACLS required
GI experience preferred
Experience with motility procedures preferred
Ability to work overtime when necessary in times of absences, vacations, etc.
Ability to travel between the endoscopy area/GI labs when necessary
Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of care specific to endoscopy area/GI Laboratory, including conscious sedation
Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and ability to identify dysrhythmias
Demonstrate an ability to assist physicians in performing procedures in the endoscopy area/GI Laboratory practicing medical and surgical asepsis at all times
Ability to complete a Nursing physical assessment
Proficiency in a Windows environment and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail
Knowledge in the use of EMR
