We invite you to join the Clinical Microbiology Research and Development team as a Research Assistant (Staff Research Associate 1), where you can leverage your specialized knowledge to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. Primary duties include:
• Support microbiological and molecular techniques in both commercially sponsored and academic projects.
• Conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing and molecular assays.
• Manage collections of microorganisms, specimens, and biological samples.
• Prepare specimens for analysis, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and instrument loading.
• Develop and maintain data/files for reagent preparation, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
Salary Range: $26.52/hour – $31.63/hour
