Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Minimum Education: Graduate of a School ofNursing program.Minimum Experience: Experiencein an acute care facilitypreferred.
Certification/Licensure: Current New Mexico or compact RN license required. Current CPRrequired.
For Maternal-Infant department: NRP certification within six (6) months ofemployment.
For New Hires: Required certification must be obtained with in (1)year of employment. If currently certified, must maintain currentcertification.
ACLS: is required for all areas where moderate sedation isperformed.
Certification or completion coursesmust meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
