Our Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit has 32 beds and a 5:1 nurse to patient ratio.  We utilize the latest technology such as Omnicell, Epic, Alaris Pumps, Workstation on Wheels and Mindray (for vitals), allowing our team to provide the best care possible for our patients.

The Registered Nurse recognizes and addresses patient needs or issues to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction, quality and outcomes. The Registered Nurse provides, directs and coordinates professional nursing care for all patients following established clinical nursing standards and practices.  The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Licenses/Certificates:
• Current RN License to practice in South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement.
• Certifications required upon hire or prior to patient care being rendered
ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
PRN associates may have flexibility, working with their Manager, in preparing their scheduled hours to work.  Working schedules shall be arranged according to unit need and based on the associate's availability.  The PRN associate will work with their Manager on a four to six (4-6) weeks calendar of availability.  Once the shifts are confirmed, the shifts shall be considered as pre-scheduled and absences are treated as such.  PRN associates may be requested to work additional hours as the need arises.

  PRN Tier 2 Unit based - All stated requirements for unit the associate is hired into will be fulfilled.

  Minimum 4 hours per shift

 

3 weekend or night shifts every 6 weeks

 

 

 

 

  32 hours per pay period or 832 hours per year 2 holidays/year

1 summer holiday

1   winter holiday
