We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Employee Health to join our nursing team at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

General Summary

The Employee Health Nurse endeavors to promote health and safety to all employees by facilitating an Employee Occupational Program which includes:

  • disease detection,
  • prevention and treatment of exposures;
  • following up on employee illnesses and injuries:
  • conducting employee health screenings
  • promoting a safe work environment.

Reporting Relationships
Reports to the Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner for Employee Occupational Health Services (EOHS)

What You Need to Be Successful:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found to be substantially equivalent to
  • the Maryland programs. (BSN preferred)
  • Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland. Successful completion of a refresher course within the past six months if nursing practice has not occurred within the last five years.
  • Prefer one year experience in the outpatient setting or employee health but not required.
  • (BLS) Basic life support certification required.
