Overview

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team at our Tunnell Cancer Center in Rehoboth Beach, DE. In this role, you will provide both direct and indirect patient care, utilizing your extensive knowledge of nursing practices, hospital policies, and critical thinking skills. You’ll work closely with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and indirect nursing care, adhering to departmental and hospital policies.
  • Accurately document medications and patient assessments in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate, implement, and evaluate the Patient Plan of Care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in providing patient care, including safe and correct collection of blood/urine specimens.
  • Exercise clinical judgment in assessing patient safety needs and responding to test results.
  • Provide clear and accurate educational instructions to patients and their families.
  • Accurately transcribe physician orders and prioritize tasks based on patient needs.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in oncology or infusion nursing preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, technical skills, and clinical judgment

* Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
* Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records

Credentials

Essential:
* RN - Registered Nurse
* BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
Nonessential:
* OCN - Oncology RN Certification

Education

Essential:
* RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program

Salaries starting at

USD $36.20/Hr.
