High school graduate plus two years of training by an approved American Medical Association Radiologic Technologist program. Registered or registry eligible and state licensed. Associates Degree in x-ray technology is preferred. Must have a good working knowledge of all radiographic positions and exhibit radiation safety practices at all times. Additionally knowledge of conflicting exams; i.e., barium enema after upper GI series to minimize length of stay.Carries out radiological examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist and Department Director/Supervisor. Responsible for maintaining quality care of all patients when in the department.
