JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Description
The Pulmonary Vascular Disease (PVD) Program Manager will have primary responsibility for the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) program, Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) program, Acute Pulmonary Embolism (PE) program, and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) program and new related programs as established.
Responsible for:
- Program oversight and management and establishment of goals to meet the overall program objectives related to both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Perform quality assurance and quality improvement (QA/QI) for all PVD programs.
- Streamline workflow and ensures safety and efficiency in the inpatient and outpatient services.
- Promote and facilitate collaborative communication and coordination among other specialties to provide comprehensive interdisciplinary care for the PVD program patients.
- Participate in applications, surveys and maintenance of accreditation. i.e. Pulmonary Hypertension Care Center accreditation from the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA).
