Job Description
Fauquier Health
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist implements and evaluates specialized care for a selected group of pulmonary patients with particular focus on the rehabilitative aspects of care. Utilizes established guidelines to coordinate education and progressive exercise for these patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Job Requirements
Completed an AccreditedProgram for Respiratory Care. VALicensed Respiratory Therapist. BasicLife Support (BLS). AdvancedCardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). 2years of recent and relevant experience in a cardiopulmonary clinicalarea. Requires critical thinking skills,decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability todemonstrate proper use of exercise equipment. Competent in reading cardiacrhythm strips.
