Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Delaware Department of Correction.

We are currently seeking a per diem Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Baylor Women's Correctional Institution located in New Castle, Delaware.

Available Shift

Evening Shift: 4:00p-12:30a including week days and weekends

Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Technician will provide routine supervision of offenders and provide informal education in routine activities and daily living. Other responsibilities will include participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implement interventions as assigned, document and inform appropriate staff of significant changes in offenders functioning, and assist facilitating group therapeutic sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a correctional environment preferred
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
• Personal computer skills including software such as Microsoft Office preferred
