Salem VA Medical Centeris seeking two motivated, enthusiastic Gastroenterologists to join its experienced staff of physician and health professionals full-time in the Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for patients within the scope of his or her Gastroenterology practice, focusing on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of both inpatients and outpatients within the medical centers GI Clinic, with additional requirement for outside and tele-consultation in urgent and emergency situations.

In addition to our continuing commitment to quality Veteran care, Salem VA Medical Center is also a teaching hospital and research center, maintaining both an active R&D program encompassing multiple specialty practices and three active medical school affiliations with the University of Virginia School of Medicine, the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
