Job Description

We are hiring for a Physician Assistant of General Surgery to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

Schedule

Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am-4:00pm; shifts based on department needs

Education Requirements

Degree: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).

 

Required Certification

Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
Licensure Required

Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant as required by the government.

 

Experience Required

Have at least 24 months of experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant within the last 36 months in the same specialty.

 

Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States
