Provides various treatment programs and procedures in collaboration with supervisor and other staff therapists. The Physical Therapy Assistant will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.
1.) Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
2.) Preference is given to applicants with a minimum of two years’ experience in the field or one year experience working in a physical therapy department of an acute care facility.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
1.) Must possess current licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
2.) Must complete the American Heart Association’s Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.) Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
2.) Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.
