SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
"This position is responsible for analyzing and managing inventory levels to an optimal level to ensure adequate coverage while carefully managing costs. This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of managed systems including the entering and updating of critical information into the software databases, training users, conducting system testing, and addressing/resolving our customers’ issues. This position is the main point of contact for their assigned Perpetual and PAR inventory areas including setups, overseeing the proper execution of the inventory count policy, data maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Lawson and Mobile Supply Chain system inventory transactions. Understands and follows all Baptist Health and government policies and regulations. This position is cross -trained on all job duties in the department and provides needed back up coverage. This position will also assist and lead in the implementation of new processes and technologies assigned. This position may also be assigned special projects and given updated assignments"
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
Education. High school diploma required. Completed some amount of College level course work in a business related field preferred with 5 years of related experience; will consider candidate without college course work who possesses job related experience and is willing to complete needed education and training courses required to successfully fulfill job duties. Ability to pass required system competency tests.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: Excellent communication and writing skills. Computer literate with strong keyboard skills; ability to quickly learn new systems. Prefer experience with data bases and other analytical tools. Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills. Strong leadership skills. Strong Team player. Creative thinker. Excellent ability to analyze and effectively problem solve. Ability to multi-task. Flexible; willingness to lead and support change and take on new assignments. Dependable. Sets a positive example and works well with others. Ability to work in a self directed manner with minimal supervision required. High level of work accuracy. Experience with using lean six sigma methodology for developing and/or optimizing processes and resources is a plus.
