What You Will Do:

The Operations Manager will have operational responsibilities for CT, PET, and Nuclear Studies in the Outpatient Diagnostic Center and Main Imaging Department at Winchester Medical Center. The position will work closely with the Operational Manager for Ultrasound and MRI as well as Operational Manager for Diagnostic Imaging and Mammography. The Operational Manager for CT, PET, and Nuclear Studies will have oversight for the fiscal, physical, personnel functions, and patient satisfaction needs of the operations areas influencing the delivery of care throughout the hospital no matter the physical location of the service, e.g., CT service located in the Emergency Department.
Target Outcome Goals:
• People Goals
o Stabilize staffing for CT staffing as shown by an increase in retention rate o Develop and implement employee engagement action plan to achieve 75th percentile performance for employees within stewardship o Develop training program that further skills of existing staff while increasing number of radiology technologist who have CT skillsets
• Service Delivery & Quality Goals
o Develop formal action plan to attain 75th percentile or high-performance in-patient experience o Engage in the ACR constructs for quality improvement as identified in the Imaging Oversight Committee o Coordinate with Radiology Safety Officer to ensure plan is in place to continue efforts to reduce radiation exposure to staff and physicians o Continue to expand services and applications for CT, Nuclear, and PET services such as the recent expansions. o Working with VHS IT, develop a multi-year plan to help prioritize IT integration requirements for service within the accountability for this position.
• Service Expansion & Growth Goals
o Support COPN process for a 2nd CT in the ED o Participate and support COPN for fixed PET scanner o Engage in conversation to assess location of next OP Free-standing Center to include specific operational requirements

What You Will Bring:

Bachelors in related field preferred
Masters in related field preferred
Successful completion of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology or other diagnostic imaging modality required.

Minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible management experience to include budget responsibility in a hospital Radiology department required.

Certification & Licensures
Current ARRT or equivalent professional certification required
Current CRA certification preferred
