Position Summary

 

The Operations Coordinator provides operational support to the leadership team of a Nursing Division. The Operations Coordinator performs and oversees a variety of administrative and fiscal operations which require critical and independent thinking and initiative to organize, prepare and report significant information. Fiscal responsibilities include entering and monitoring operational and capital budget requests, coordinating capital equipment quotes and managing check requests. The Operations Coordinator supports preparation and management of the operation’s budget and monitors and produces assigned reports for Nurse Leaders. The Operations Coordinator performs assigned audits, inventory, and regulatory functions.The Operation’s Coordinator supports Nurse Leaders and proactively coordinates the renewal or termination of existing contracts. The Operations Coordinator supports the Nursing Leader to facilitate the initiation of new contract processes, maintains a log of existing contracts, and supports the annual review process. Human Resource responsibilities include maintenance of personnel files and follow-up with leaders on HealthStream due dates and compliance.  Other duties include policy and procedure support, coordinating meetings, minutes, and assistance with meeting preparation to include development of presentation materials and data display. The Operations Coordinator must be efficient in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality and have effective written and verbal communication skills.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education/Experience

  • Associate Degree or 2 years’ clerical/operations experience, or 30 semester hours of equivalent education in related field. Degree, experience, or education must be relevant to role/position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • Four (4) years office experience in a healthcare setting

  • Completes other duties as assigned
