Overview

This individual provides direct patient care as the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Acts as a liaison to Women's Health Director and Pediatricians, and Beebe Medical Center and Physician Network. Meets all reporting requirements set forth by the Department of Public Health.

* Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
* Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs

* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
* Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records

Credentials

* NP - Nurse Practitioner
* BLS - Basic Life Saving certification

Education

* Master of Science in Nursing

*Neonatal Certification

Other Information

Previous experience as a Neonatal Inpatient care practice required. Prefer experience in Neonatal, Pediatrics, GYN and Family Medicine. Prefer 12 months previous experience as staff nurse. Prior experience with urgicare, women's health (GYN only), and pediatrics (especially well baby care) preferred.
