Job Description

General Summary:
Manages and oversees clinical, human and other resources within the Nursing Unit or group of units. Develops and implements goals and objectives to support the organization in the changing health care environment. Utilizes and provides direction in the nursing process, standards, DMAI process and the allocation of resources within established reimbursement/budget parameters. Maintains competence in clinical nursing practice and obtains relative education.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to read and communicate in the English language. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion from an accredited school of nursing. NJ RN license. BSN preferred. Five years clinical experience in related nursing area. Prior management experience preferred. Working knowledge of health care financial systems, education skills, knowledge of and ability to use computers. Possesses excellent human relations skills.
