Summary:

Seeking a marketing and communications intern who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and research industry trends. The intern will work collaboratively on teams to conduct research that improves our brand, communications, and strategy. The ideal candidate understands brand marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies, public relations and communications, and is interested in working on high-impact projects.

Objectives of this role

  • Play a role throughout the marketing and communications cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling
  • Contribute to marketing and communications campaigns that further the company’s strategic goals
  • Monitor consumer trends, feedback, and satisfaction levels
  • Apply marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges
  • Provide support for virtual and in-person events
  • Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance the brand’s standing

Responsibilities

  • Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing and communications initiatives
  • Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
  • Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports
  • Handle inbound requests from vendors, partners, customers, and clients
  • Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity
  • Collect performance metrics to measure progress

Other information:
Requirements:
> Entering Jr. or Sr. year of college; or recent graduate
> 2.5 or above GPA
> Two brief letters of recommendation (at least one from current school)
> Ability to work in-person and on-site in central Arkansas

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
