We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a PRN Senior IT Support Speicalist to join our IT/IS team!

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

 

Primary DutiesProvides configuration/imaging, deployment, and support for desktop operating systems, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, and all hospital communication devices.Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and deployment for software applications.Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for telecommunications adds/moves/changes and assists Systems Administrator with physical/virtual server support.Thoroughly understand, reproduce, and solve technical issues.Handle escalated cases and customers from the Support team with a high sense of urgency and follow through.Coordinate various projects, tasks, and IT initiatives as assigned.

Help Desk and Customer ServiceDiagnoses, resolves and closes customer issues according to service level guidelines.Provides end-user desktop training when appropriate and participates in on-call rotation.Prepares and maintains documentation for the departmental knowledgebase.Support customers via email and phone with strong writing skills and excellent phone manner.Advocate for customers and define ways to continually add value to the customer experience.

Job Requirements

Education: High School diploma - required

Associates Degree plus 2-4 yrs experience - required

Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4-5 yrs experience - preferred

Certifications: A+, Network+, or MCTCS Preferred
