Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. 


We are currently seeking part-time and full time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at multiple locations in Tennessee:

  • Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center (formerly Tennessee Prison for Women) located in Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Riverbend Maximum Security Institutionlocated in Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Bledsoe County Correctional located in Pikeville, Tennessee.
  • Northwest Correctional Complexlocated in Tiptonville, Tennessee.
  • West Tennessee State Penitentiarylocated in Henning, Tennessee.
  • Northeast Correctional Complexlocated in Mountain City, Tennessee.
  • Women's Therapeutic Residential Center located in Henning, Tennessee.
  • Mark Luttrell Transition Center located in Memphis, Tennessee.



The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

  • Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license
  • Current CPR
  • Corrections experience not required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
