Position Summary

The Laboratory Director has the responsibility for staffing, supervision, quality control, workflow efficiency, clinical standards, records and report accuracy, inventory and equipment maintenance in the laboratory.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s prepared: Graduate of accredited program in Medical Technology or related laboratory field required.

Experience:

• Two years clinical experience at Technologist Level
• Five years’ experience at Supervisor/Management Level

License/Registration/Certifications

• Certification by an acceptable laboratory registry (ASCP, AMT, HEW/HHS, NCA)
