POSITION PURPOSE: 
Act as the key Information Technology department resource for on-site and remote support of all VVMC IT equipment, and Tier 1/Tier 2 user support. This includes but is not limited to, VVMC computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
  • Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 level support for VVMC computer equipment and applications.
  • Monitor call ticketing system queue, prioritize and complete tickets per defined service level agreements.
  • Configure, image, and deploy equipment including desktop PC's, laptops, and other mobile devices.
  • Work closely with IT Staff in planning short term projects such as PC installations, printers' setups, hardware/software upgrades, and cabling.
  • Support offsite locations when necessary, weekend and nightly call.
  • Responsible for daily computer operations to ensure the completion of daily activities, including the midnight processing and daily log.
  • Document new procedures and update outdated procedures as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
Experience:

Two years of experience in healthcare information services preferred.
