Job Description
UP Health System - Portage
An exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper/Utility Worker is now available in our Facilities Department. Our Facilities team takes great pride in making sure that the patient environment is sanitary, comfortable, and safe. As a Housekeeper/Utility Worker, you will have a significant impact on the quality of care delivered at UP Health System – Portage. Assignments will include cleaning areas on the main campus as well as off campus. Other infrequent duties include lawn care and snow removal, as needed.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required
Two years institutional/commercial housekeeping experience preferred
Current MI Driver’s License required
Annual Influenza Vaccination Required
0.6 FTE (24 hours per week)
Primarily Evening Shift
Variable Weekends
Cleaning various facilities within the organization
