Overview

Reporting to the Director, Executive Recruiting, an Executive Recruiter’s primary responsibility is to attract, source, and hire diverse talent that reflects the communities that Novant Health serves into senior level positions. The Executive Recruiter is responsible for the full candidate lifecycle: from managing hiring manager relationships, sourcing, screening, and hiring for a high-quality pipeline of diverse candidates and facilitate a smooth onboarding process. A successful candidate will have (1) strong relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, (2) the ability to establish credible relationships with senior executives, and (3) effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor's degree in human resources management; business administration or related field required

Experience:  Minimum of five years of experience in corporate or executive recruiting including recruitment or recruitment support or human resource required

Additional skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience with executive search strategies and best practices
  • Proven experience as a recruiter hiring qualified individuals from a wide variety of diverse demographics
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, appropriately, and inclusively with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results as well as respect confidential information
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a view of inclusion and belonging
  • Strong analytical, consulting, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
  • Effectively works in a fast-paced work environment to deliver results
  • Knowledgeable about HR best practices and future trends in healthcare and in industry
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Novant Health
  • Advanced experience with MSOffice, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
