Job Summary: The Distribution Specialist processes all incoming and outgoing package and mail shipments on a daily basis. Also responsible for shipping and receiving functions, material handling, stock distribution and fulfillment of supply requests through the use of MMIS or handheld barcode systems. Other duties will include furniture moves, record storage and distribution, and any transportation functions as required from the CMMC Distribution Center to the Medical Center and its affiliates. Additional duties include managing of supply par level locations by reviewing and fulfilling low stock needs, reordering stock as well as putting stock away upon receipt and assuring par level locations are clean and organized per hospital policy.

 

Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent.   This CMHC position must meet the criteria for evaluating vehicle operator suitability. It has been determined that this position requires either the operation of a system or leased vehicle or the use of a personal vehicle for business purposes on a regular basis as an integral part of the job.

 

Skills:  Basic computer knowledge.  Valid Maine Drivers License – Able to drive 24' box truck effectively & safely.
