This role has responsibility over quality improvement and patient safety related activities. He/She works with clinicians and administrators to improve overall patient safety and clinical outcomes. Supports, promotes and encourages a culture of safety throughout the organization. Leads a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating identification of high impact improvement opportunities, encouraging strategic and tactical planning to prioritize and address opportunities identified, and driving results and accountability through data transparency and programmatic approach to eliminating harm.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in healthcare leadership. Clinical experience preferred.
- Education and Training: Master’s Degree required.
- License Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality preferred. Certified Professional of Patient Safety accepted.
D. Other Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize and function effectively with teams. Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Familiarity with clinical, hospital
based information systems.
