What You Will Do:

The Director of Population Health Operation for Valley Partners is responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategic value-based initiatives for Valley Partners and VHS including those emanating from both governmental and private payers. The director will design, analyze and evaluate population, quality and efficiency data to determine level of performance of the network and ensure quality and financial performance is meeting or exceeding established targets. Serving as a dyad partner with the Medical Director for Primary Care/Population Health, the director will work directly with the resource team and with the clinical network practices to affect value based care redesign and to establish and manage care practices consistent with the networks value based goals. The director will manage staff, including day-to-day supervision, employee relations, and staff development. The successful candidate should have a work history that demonstrates the ability to master complex regulatory paradigms and enact programmatic changes consistent with those requirements. He or she will be responsible for managing the network performance measurement program for the clinically integrated network. In addition, the director will develop and manage strategic population and quality initiatives in collaboration with the MG CMO/VP Population Health and network providers. The director will ensure the program design meet regulatory requirements for a clinically integrated provider network. He or she should demonstrate the ability to design, evaluate, analyze and present data and performance metrics as well as establishes and maintains effective and responsive relationships with providers and other internal and external key stakeholders. Oversees and manages any regulatory surveys or reviews by accrediting agencies as appropriate. Serves as a key organizational partner relative to payer contracting related to value based care. The director will partner with the finance department to engage with payers and build favorable standing with a goal to engage commercial and governmental payers in population health and risk based contracts. Other skills necessary for success include outstanding leadership, excellent communication skills both written and oral, project management, data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills.

What You Will Bring:

Education
Masters in Healthcare Administration or related field or advanced clinical degree required.

Experience
Three years ACO/CIN leadership preferred
Five years progressive leadership responsibilities in healthcare required
