Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required with minimum five years of relevant experience with Oracle development, or Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years’ experience with construction of complex queries, using SQL and MS Office programs and applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and scheduler, etc.)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with eResearch applications, notably Oncore clinical trials system
  • Demonstrated experience using Oracle databases, including detailed knowledge of Database queries to improve system performance, data retrieval and customized reporting
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and writing detailed business and functional requirements for reporting
  • Detailed knowledge of good database design principles, and SQL and PL/SQL
  • In-depth experience of developing in an Oracle environment
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced concepts of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, autofilter, working with large datasets to identify patterns and/or anomalies)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems for sporadic desktop support
  • Excellent demonstrated technical writing skills to draft standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ability to synthesize and process complex technical information and present in easy to understand terms to non-technical users utilizing documents and diagrams
  • Ability to frequently lift CPUs, printers, and monitors
