Description:

Position Purpose:

• Coding and Auditing Supervisor assist with analyzing data, identifying and implementing process improvement methods related to Coding Compliance. Conducts regular reviews of Provider Based Facility and Professional documentation, charging, CPT and diagnosis coding. Provides training regarding audit findings to ensure compliance with Federal, State and payer documentation and coding regulations. Coordinates and performs applicable follow up audits
• Specialty: Primary Care and Risk Assessment
• Location : Remote
• Hours of office: Monday through Friday 7:00a – 4:30p

What You Will Do:

• Over the primary care and risk assessment coders
• Supervising direct reports – 9 ppl all remote worker
• Working with coding accurately
• Implementing changes correctly and up to date policies
• Run reports for standards, reports for leadership, aging days, etc
• EPIC usage
• Using coding tools ( online version )

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or GED required
• Certification: CPC – required CRC – preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of CPT, ICD -10 coding and CMS
• Minimum of 5 years experience in coding and auditing/documentation review
