Description
There’s nothing more fulfilling than making a meaningful, positive impact in someone’s life. At UCLA Health, you’ll experience this every day while being part of a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace—one of the most loved in healthcare. Join us and see the difference for yourself.
As a Clinical Surveillance Team Nurse Supervisor, you’ll work with the Clinical Surveillance Team (CST), which monitors and manages the pre-emergent and emergent clinical deterioration of adult non-ICU patients for our Santa Monica Hospital. The CST plays a vital role in independently identifying and managing patients at risk of further decline, focusing on rapid prevention and intervention. This includes conditions such as sepsis, strokes (CVA), respiratory issues, and cardiac events. You will be responsible for recognizing, assessing, and coordinating clinical surveillance data, adjusting patient care plans, and communicating updates to the healthcare team.
In this leadership role, you will also oversee the administrative coordination of the Clinical Surveillance Program, including the Medical Emergency Team (MET), Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Code Stroke teams.
This position requires assignments at both UCLA Health Ronald Reagan and UCLA Health Santa Monica hospital.
