Qualifications

 

Clinical Social Worker II, and III

A Master’s Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education – Required. Post-masters social work experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong relationship building skills. Excellent problem solving ability. Demonstrated skill in psychosocial assessments of patient / families, clinical interventions, and treatment planning with patients and families. Demonstrated work with interdisciplinary teams

Emergency Department experience preferred.

Must carry beeper during normal work hours and respond to pages in a timely manner.

Must participate in at least one area of specialized practice annually.

Clinical Social Worker II – MSW and License Eligible

Clinical Social Worker III – Must possess a current license (L.C.S.W.) with the California Board of Behavioral Science.
