Summary:
The clinical research general manager will report to the CEO and will help develop and supervise the
execution of strategic plans for the continued growth and development of BHCCR. BHCCR has been in
operation since 2012 and has over 35 employees. It is a unique clinical research site and is an
independent entrepreneurial unit of Baptist Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in
Arkansas. This enables us to have the “reach of a large multispecialty integrated research system with
the speed and service of a privately owned research site”. This is a hands-on job and will require the GM
to work with BHCCR’s project management, Quality Assurance, recruitment, finance, personnel,
business development and regulatory departments to execute specific research projects successfully.

Other information:
This job requires extensive experience in clinical research at a site level, with significant experience as a site manager in a multispecialty clinical research site overseaing a variety of clinical studies. At a minimum, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in science or business. An MBA, RN, APRN, MD or PhD with clinical site management experience would be a plus. The job requires a thorough knowledge of business development and the management experience to organize, grow and run a large clinical research site. Need to have an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with the ability to work within a team. Be able to adapt quickly and make decisions, with exceptional organizational skills. Ability to devise and execute a long-term plan for growth for the organization. Ability to direct the performance of multiple studies in the most efficient way, to maximize existing resources. Must be scientifically literate in order to understand research protocols. Must be able to communicate to physicians and non-physicians.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
