Job Description
Spring View Hospital
The LPN, under the direction and supervision of the RN, is responsible for the care of the patient and family needs from neonate through geriatric. The LPN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; addresses health educational needs for patients, families and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; and applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
This is a temporary position with a 13 week contract. Rate of pay will be tiered based on number of shifts worked during the week. The candidate will need to agree upon a schedule for the entire 13 week period. This position is also eligible for a $1000 completion bonus at the end of the 13 week period.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program, with current licensure in the State of Kentucky.
- Certification in area of specialty preferred.
- One to two years clinical experience preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS certification recommended.
- PALS recommended.
