Overview

This individual provides direct patient care as the Center's Nurse Practitioner according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center credentialing committee. Follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our family medicine residency clinic, where you will work alongside physicians and resident physicians in delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages including prenatal care. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a highly synergetic partnership and educational environment, focusing on providing comprehensive primary care services while also contributing to the training and development of medical residents.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatric populations, including prenatal care.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic illnesses with a focus on evidence-based practice and preventive care, including immunizations and wellness visits.
  • Provide timely documentation and billing using an electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Contribute to the training and mentorship of resident physicians, fostering a collaborative educational environment.
  • Participate in community health initiatives such as health fairs and population health events.

Education

  • Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification.
